Fix this common mistake in French

Indirect object pronouns: leur, lui, etc.

One of the first grammar points you should work on are indirect object pronouns. Why? Because it’s a mistake that’s relatively easy to fix.

A common mistake is to say:

• Je vais donner à elle

  I’ll give (to) her

• Je vais donner à lui
  I’ll give (to) him

You have to say, for both genders:

Je vais lui donner
