A little about me

I have a very diverse background. I studied classical music, but I had a career in Internet Marketing.

A few years ago, I decided to go back to an old passion of mine: language learning.

Having successfully taught myself English, Italian and German (with some Spanish, Portuguese and Russian along the way), I became passionate about helping others learn my native language, French.

I was born and raised in Quebec, and I am passionate about sharing Quebecois culture with the world.

I base my methods on Stephen Krashen’s Comprehensible Input theory.  I am a firm believer that the human brain is wired to learn languages through comprehension— not through memorization and the study of grammar rules (although those have a place!).
